MAC Burgundy Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette Review Swatches
MAC Burgundy Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette Review Swatches
I think its finally time to blog about perhaps one of the best yet underrated eyeshadow palettes of all time. This is the gorgeous MAC Burgundy Times Nine Eye Shadow Palette. This autumn/winter friendly palette has shades of copper, brown and mauve in all finishes - from shimmers to mattes. Let's get started!

MAC Honey Lust Eyeshadow is a shimmery light orange with a lustre finish that applies really smoothly and actually feels like a veluxe pearl.

MAC Poppyseed Eyeshadow is a light to medium toned mauve eyeshadow with a satin finish.

MAC Quarry Eyeshadow is a medium toned mauve brown eyeshadow with a matte finish. This type of shade looks great on the crease.

MAC Antiqued Eyeshadow is a gorgeous shimmery red-copper brown shade that looks fantastic with brown eyes. Its actually one of my favourite eyeshadows that I save for special occasions. It has a veluxe pearl finish.

MAC Embark Eyeshadow is a rich red-tinted dark brown eyeshadow with a matte finish. It's a fabulous shade to deepen up the outer V.

MAC #Noir Eyeshadow is a complex eyeshadow. It has red flecks on top of a dark black base. It's actually similar to MAC Beauty Marked Eyeshadow from the permanent range but with a much better colour pay off.

MAC Haux Eyeshadow is a medium tan shade with a hint of mauve. This satin finish eyeshadow will work wonders on the crease.

MAC Star Violet Eyeshadow has purple shimmers on a rust orange base. It has a beautiful veluxe pearl finish.

MAC Sketch Eyeshadow has sparse red shimmers on a dark purple base. It has a velvet formula. It's a shade that's good to darken up the outer V.

MAC Honey Lust, Poppyseed, Quarry, Antiqued, Embark, #Noir, Haux, Star Violet, Sketch Eyeshadow Swatches (L to R)

The Gorgeous MAC Burgundy Times Nine Eye Shadow Palette

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, BareMinerals Original Foundation, BareMinerals Matte Foundation, Benefit That Gal Primer, BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Review
L'oreal Telescopic Mascara, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, BareMinerals Original Foundation, BareMinerals Matte Foundation, Benefit That Gal Primer, BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Review
Its about time for another post on my favourites this week. Thinking about it, I've been all about that base, 'bout that base...

Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer. This pink-tinted face primer partially corrects the sallowness of my yellow skin while also providing a smooth base for foundation. I would wait a few minutes for this to set in prior to the next step. I found this to be non comedogenic for my combination skin. Unlike most primers this does not feel too siliconey which is great.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. This gel formula gives light to medium coverage on the skin with SPF30. It works very well with the benefit primer above.

BareMinerals SPF15 Matte Foundation. This loose powder product is fab to set the oily tzone with. It keeps shine at bay for about 4-6 hours prior to having to reapply again, and that's on my oily nose.

BareMinerals SPF15 Original Foundation. Loving this to set foundation on the rest of my face. It provides a natural finish, similar to MAC mineralised skinfinish natural powders.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer Powder. I've gone back to this matte taupe for contouring the face. Such a good quality product, I believe this is my second box.

L'Oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara. Lately my lids have been eyeliner free I suppose in the interests of time I have often gone straight for mascara. This lovely brush has small bristles yet pack a punch to create thick long lashes. Definitely one to try!
