|Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette Review, Swatches|
I've had this gorgeous trio of Hourglass Cosmetics blushes for some time now but I've only recently had the opportunity to blog about them. This trio is called the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette.
Unlike traditional blushes that can often look dull and flat when applied to the face, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette creates seamless, subtle, multi-dimensional colour for natural-looking radiance. The texture of each blush is super soft and fine milled, its a wonder how they are so pigmented. The individual shades are actually melanges of a shimmery pale nude Ambient Lighting Powder with some pops of vibrant colour.
The first from the left is Luminous Flush. Swirled together it makes for a mid-tone coral with a hint of plum - I know, its odd but that's the only way I could describe it. It has slight shimmers, I would say it has a satin finish.
Incandescent Electra is the one in the middle, when swirled makes a glowy light peach. It has more shimmers than the first. It also has fine silver glitter interspersed with the fine milled formula.
Mood Exposure is the one on the far right . Once swirled it looks like a mid-tone peach. The finish is a satin finish like Luminous Flush.
Overall, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette is a trio of beautiful blushes in a high quality fine milled texture. The shades lean towards the warmer side of the colour spectrum so I would say they especially suit women with golden or olive undertones. The shades last 4-5 hours before fading. The packaging is plastic but looks divine and fastens safely shut. Lovely mirror inside. Purchasing the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette (£56) is a good bargain if you are curious to try Hourglass blushes which are £28 a piece. I would recommend this palette if you are curious about trying the Hourglass range of blushes!
