Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Review |
I'm a huge fan of vanilla fragrances and I'm pleased to share with you a new fragrance I've added to my rotation of scrumptious scents: Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium.
Somehow YSL managed to reinvent the vanilla base with Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium. The coffee top note mixed with vanilla is reminiscent of a vanilla mocha (if that exists). It's an 'Adult Vanilla', not as sweet as Britney Spears Fantasy or Lancome La Vie Est Belle. It is a much sultrier and more sophisticated scent.
The scent lasts long - well beyond 6 hours, sometimes you can even smell it the next day. It has moderate sillage, less sillage than another favourite Thierry Mugler Angel.
I've been wearing this daily since I got and its clear to see I'm addicted. I urge you to try Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium out at your nearest shop and if you like the other fragrances I've mentioned in this post, no doubt you will love this too.

I'm not a big fan of sweet scents, but that coffee note really intrigues me. Sounds delicious! Thanks for the review.
