A throwback to our ballerina days we have been busting out our romantic purple and lilac eyeshadows this season and teaming them up with our ballerina hair buns. The trick is to avoid the 'bruised lid look' that these colours can sometimes do... Here are our tips to wear the right shade of purple for you:
1. Light lavenders and pastel purples tend to look good on everyone. Brighter bolder colours are for the courageous and adventurous!
2. Stay away from purples with red undertones as they accentuate the red vessels in your eyes.
3. Blend blend blend and blend well. A brown matte eyeshadow on the crease helps.
4. Keep the rest of your makeup look simple and minimal. After all this effort you'll want all eyes on your eyelids...
