Cult Fave: ARgENTUM Apothecary La Potion Infinie

ARgENTUM Apothecary La Potion Infinie Review

Argentum Apothecary La Potion Infinie is a luxury facial moisturiser with anti-ageing properties ie. firming, tightening, hydrating.

Starting off with the stunning mystical packaging, it comes in a black box and once opened reveals the black glass jar of moisturiser, a spatula to prevent double-dipping, and an Argentum archetype card - one of a series of 12. I received the Magician card.

One of its main ingredients is Silver Hydrosol. In the medical world, we use topical silver for its antibacterial properties that hence this lotion also possesses. This acts to battle breakout-inducing bacteria allowing the natural skin regenerating process to take place on your skin.

As a moisturiser, it has a medium consistency that feels light in texture. It smells of herbs that adds to the sensational experience of applying this luxury product.

It absorbs moderately quickly on the skin and it wears comfortably. You can feel a slight tightening sensation at the beginning but this goes away quickly revealing soft smooth skin. With regards to its anti-ageing properties, I'll let you know in a few years.

I would use this all over cleansed skin - face and neck. You can also use this around your eyes as an eye cream due to its firming properties. As it does not contain SPF, I recommend to use this as a night cream.

I am of course using this in the summer time when my skin just needs a little bit more moisture with the summer heat, and it hydrates well. but I look forward to testing this in the winter time when my skin demands more hydration.

ARgENTUM Apothecary La Potion Infinie Review

The Argentum Apothecary La Potion Infinie has a premium price of £147 for a 70ml pot. It is quite expensive for a skincare option but since it acts as an antiaging night cream + face and neck moisturiser + anti-blemish + eye cream = pretty much THE ONLY skincare product you need. If you've got the funds, I say its worth it.

If you're in two thoughts, I suggest try samples before the full-size splurge. Have a browse through their website.
