SHOP THE POST
I visited the Charlotte Tilbury stall at Selfridges again to have a snoop and eventually picked up a few goodies for myself. I was in a good mood and decided to give myself another treat. Thanks to the very talented enabling MUA @PhilippaLouise1, we picked out a few products to suit my NC30 Oriental skintone. I got a few sticks: lipstick, beach stick and eyeshadow stick.
Following on from falling in love with Bitch Perfect Lipstick as I’ve professed in my previous post, I was excited to try out another lippie from this line. I picked up a beautiful true coral aptly named Coachella Coral for the festival season. This looks fabulous on top of Pink Venus Lip Pencil that I already own. Perfect!
This is one of the products I have been looking forward to trying out. It’s a beautiful shimmery peachy pink that makes the skin look super glowy. I love it on my cheeks but it can also be used on the lips. It’s reminiscent of the cult fave NARS Orgasm Blush but just without larger shimmer/glitter particles. It comes in a stick form so its easy to dab and blend for on the go. Love!
I wouldn’t have looked at this product if the lovely MUA hadn’t showed me this on her hand. She had all the colours of the eye pencils swatched in tiny squares on her hand which were beautiful to look at but what made me think ‘GIMME!’ was when she rubbed the swatches and they had not budged. AT ALL. I was in disbelief and even asked if I could try to rub them off – no, they stayed put. I could see these going well on my oily lids especially in the summer time. The colour I picked was a good pale nude with fine silver speckles. It’s great for everyday use. Another fantastic find.

I’ve got my eyes on a few other things including the Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette that was out of stock during my visit (boo!), the bronze beach stick and one of the shimmery blushes – I’ll need some help from @PhilippaLouise1 to figure out which one that was… and I’m still in two minds but very tempted with that gorgeous bronzer/highlight duo.
It really does feel like being in a kid in a candy shop at the Charlotte Tilbury section (I know: cliché but true) and with the extremely friendly staff it just makes for a wonderful experience. I shall be visiting again!
