Urban Decay Glitter Makeup Moondust Eyeshadows Review!

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows in Space Cowboy & Diamond Dog

I was at a friend's wedding last week. With the hustle and bustle, I was people watching as you do and noticed the bride's sister wearing the most beautiful glitter eyeshadow on her eyes that just sparkled as she blinked... I was caught in awe! And of course like the makeup addict that I am I asked her what she wore and she eagerly took the eyeshadow from her handbag and showed me. They were the Urban Decay Glitter Eyeshadows from the Moondust range.

Soon after I checked out the collection myself and spotted a few wearable neutrals that are just stunning to swatch. I picked up a couple, here they are!

Space Cowboy.

First up is this beauty. This is a wearable cream glitter eyeshadow, a neutral base with pink and silver sparkles. I wouldn't say the base was particularly pigmented and would look better on top of solid colour.

Diamond Dog.

This eyeshadow is a cool-toned mocha brown glitter eyeshadow with silver sparkles.

I don't know why I've never checked out this collection before. Perhaps its because they have been overshadowed by the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. The Moondust eyeshadow range is part of the permanent collection there's no rush to purchase... I'm glad I discovered these; lesson learned from Ghandi- "If you don't ask you don't get." - in the literal sense!

  1. These shades are beautiful. I love how shimmery they are. They are really nice for both day and night wear x

  2. WOW Diamond Dog looks AWESOME D': buuuut, how are they abt. fall out? I'm struggling with my Full Exposure palette and don't need more frustrating glitters to work with T_T

  3. Diamond Dog looks so tempting <3 <3

  4. Good question! The fall out is not too bad but its there. I would pat these shadows on the lid as opposed to sweeping them to minimise glitter all over the face.

  5. Thanks XiaoVee! What a fantastic giveaway!
