It's finally here! Summer is my absolute favorite season. Warm sun, cool breeze, sunglasses, high waisted shorts and crop tops - I love everything about it! I guess most of it has to do with me being raised in the tropics. I'm a literal beach baby. So here's a fun look I put together, inspired by the warm tones of this season.
I started by concealing my eyebags and other spots with my MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer and blended it out with my fingers. Highlighting and contouring is key to a sun-kissed look. I went ahead and used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Spot Corrector in Light/Medium as a highlighter. I actually bought this shade by mistake because it was too light for me. But it makes a perfect highlighter. Then I contoured my cheekbones, the temples of my head, and my nose with Sleek Luminous Pressed Powder no. 04. After blending everything together, I coated my face with MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation.
Moving on to the eyes, I started by filling in my brows with Etude House Easy Brow Pencil and highlighting my brow bones with Sleek Pillow Talk (Sleek Ultra Matte v2), a matte cream-colored eyeshadow. Next, I placed a sheer, Shimmery Gold eyeshadow from the Sleek Storm Palette on my lids. The gold is what gives that little "water shine" look on your eyes. Then I blended it in with Sleek Paperbag (Sleek Ultra Matte v2), a dark brown matte eyeshadow, to add more depth to my eyes. Now comes my favorite part - lining my waterline with Sleek Blue Lagoon (Sleek Curacao), an electric blue color. Coloring your waterline with a neon color adds a little fun and creativity to your look without overdoing it. To finish of my eye make up, I used NYX Super Fat Marker on my lids and Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara to coat my lashes.
Finishing off, I locked everything in with my MAC Lightful Powder. Then swept a gorgeous tan colored blush, MAC Enough Said,on the apples of my cheeks. And finally my favorite nude lippie, NYX Matte Lip Creme in London on my lips.
Happy Summer, Beauties! x

thanks you so much! Studio Sculpt is good for all skin types in my opinion. I do have a combination of oily and dry, and it works out just fine for me :)
