Rimmel Colour Rush Balm Rita Ora Viva Violet Review Swatches!

Rimmel London in collaboration with British pop singer Rita Ora have released a collection of lip crayons in the Rimmel Colour Rush range. Out of the different colours in the collection, I was drawn to Viva Violet for its radiant orchid nature.

The texture itself is very creamy. It feels creamier and has a lot more slip than the Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains and is quite forgiving and better yet - soothing - on dry lips. It has medium buildable pigmentation and does transfer. If you leave it alone for about half an hour without munching or sipping, you'll find that the creaminess dries away leaving a lip stain.

I find that Viva Violet is not as 'violet' as the name implies so it may mislead some purple lippie enthusiasts, rather it is a hot shade of pink and due to its texture, can be wearable for those bright lippy shy.

Overall I do like this formula, but if you prefer less slippery textures, you would perhaps enjoy the Revlon Kissable Lip Stains more.

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm Rita Ora Viva Violet (£5.99) is available from your local Boots and Superdrug.

Ahhh I am so bad about all of these! Especially squinting. I really need glasses! Thanks for the great reminders.
