Joining the likes of Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauperin the fight against AIDS, Rihanna and MAC Cosmetics launched a new MAC Viva Glam Lipstick.
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna is a frosty medium toned red orange that applies creamy on the lips with a red frost. It is more orange toned than red, which may mean the possibility of highlighting the yellows of our pearly whites. It is also a frost that most people especially the more mature among us may not feel comfortable wearing. If it was cream finish, I think we'd all go for it!
As with all reds, MAC Viva Glam Rihanna is high maintenance. Make sure you line your lips with a matching lip pencil, or even fill the lips in to provide an even base. I suggest exfoliating your lips well before to make sure they are smooth as the frostiness can highlight some flakes. Having done those, then you're good to go.
I applaud MAC Cosmetics for their Viva Glam range of lipsticks and lipglosses where all proceeds goes to helping adults and children affected with AIDS. If you're keen to join the charity bandwagon, I recommend this and the other MAC Viva Glam products.
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick (£15) is available from your local MAC Cosmetics shop, Selfridges, House of Fraser and Debenhams.
