Everyone commented on how 'glowy' or 'blooming' I looked today so naturally I wanted to share my makeup look with you.
Here's a golden neutral look I wore to reunion dinner with family I have not seen in too long. I have used two palettes in this look, including the MAC Eyeshadow 15 Warm Neutral Palette. For how I did this look and the brushes I used, keep reading!
I started off by prepping my skin with Vichy Normaderm Total Mat Cream followed by a spritz of Avene Eau Thermale Water Spray. Once my skin was ready, I used Real Techniques Buffing Brush to apply MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC25. With Real Techniques Powder Brush, I set the foundation with MAC Blot Powder in Medium.
Moving on to the eyes, I applied Urban Decay Primer Potion on the entire lid with my ring finger. Once dried, I applied MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot all over the lid with a MAC 239 Eyeshadow Brush, concentrating on the lid and blending upwards. This was followed by MAC Brule eyeshadow from the MAC Eyeshadow 15 Warm Neutral Palette with the MAC 224 Brush to underneath the browbone for highlight. With the MAC 239 Eyeshadow Brush, I applied MAC Butterfudge eyeshadow from the same palette on the lid and thickly lined my lower lashlines with the same shade using the MAC 219 Pencil Brush. Using the Real Techniques Crease Brush, I applied MAC Saddle Eyeshadow also from the MAC Eyeshadow 15 Warm Neutral Palette, on the crease. I then applied MAC Avenue Fluidline with Real Techniques Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush on the upper lashline creating a little wing. Eyelashes were coated with the primer from L'oreal Double Extension Mascara with Serum Inside, followed by Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara in waterproof black and curled with Shiseido Eyelash Curler. I filled in my eyebrows with Etude House Brow Pencil.
Moving on to some colour on the face, I used MAC 138 Tapered Brush to dust Benefit Hoola Bronzer onto the hollows of my cheeks, the temples and my hairline for contour. Using the Real Techniques Blush Brush I applied NARS Orgasm Blush from the NARS One Night Stand Palette on the cheeks. I picked up MAC Pearl Cream Colour base with my fingers and applied this on the tops of my cheekbones.
To finish the look I applied Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Honey on to the lips.
