Bourjois makeup have released their own line of false lashes. There are 5 of them, 4 of which I have. The line-up includes the following:

1. Smoky Eyes – lashes with a liner effect, £7.99
2. Rock Chic - fierce lashes for a bold, intense look, £7.99
3. Lady in Black - half-strip lashes with jewels on them to add a touch of sparkle to your outfit, £7.99
4. More Volume - lashes for a naturally chic everyday look, £6.99
5. Miss Couture - lace and catwalk inspired lashes, made for elegance and high-end glamour. Created in collaboration with Paperself, the world’s leading paper –art brand for lashes, £10.99

These false lashes can be applied in full or you can even get creative and cut them into several mini lashes for a combination of different looks. They are re-usable and can be applied as an overlay to existing false lashes.

Each pair includes adhesive.

Compared to my favourite Kiss lashes, I find these to be sub-par. They seem a bit stiffer, a bit heavier and plasticky in comparison. I also have to trim the full-sized ones to fit. They are also a bit more expensive.

These are perfect for statement looks, however. Especially Miss Couture!

Bourjois Faux & Fabulous Lashes

MAC Pearl Cream Colour Base, NARS Albatross

NARS Albatross on bare skin, high up on my cheekbones
NARS Albatross Highlighter is described as a "sheer, light golden sheen".
It is a pale white colour with a light to medium golden sheen.
It is fine milled, with a great colour pay off, which is easy to build.
I love pairing this with warm toned blushes - like peaches and oranges,
as it seems to compliment them well.
Compared to my favourite and staple highlighter, MAC Pearl cream colour base,
Albatross is definitely more golden, where as Pearl is more white.
Although it is relatively new to my stash,
this has already become one of my favourite highlighters.
I'm so glad to have picked this up!

NARS Albatross Highlighter Review, Swatches

NARS Gaiety blush is described as a "bright candy pink".
It is a bright blue-based pink with a matte finish.
It has an amazing finely milled texture, with a great colour pay off.
It can be applied light with a light-hand,
but it is so easy to buildable to the desired intensity.
It is also easy to blend.
Gaiety is a dream to use and it looks stunning on.
It gives you that bright pop of colour.
It was released for this year's spring and summer,
but I think it is perfect for this cold season,
for that lovely winter flush!

NARS Gaiety Blush Review, Swatches

If you're a fan of corals and peaches like me,
you'll fall head over heels in love with this palette.
It is Sleek Makeup's Blush by 3 Palette in Lace.
 It contains 3 coral shades:
The first one is a more orange toned peach with a satin/matte finish.
Second is a shimmery gold peach - akin to the popular NARS Orgasm blush
and also MAC Springsheen blush.
And the third is a darker, more pink toned peach with a satin/matte finish.
The textures are lovely.
As with most Sleek Makeup blushes,
they are well pigmented and are visible with a single swipe!
Therefore I recommend using these with a light hand,
or alternatively use a stippling brush like
the MAC 188 brush which lets you diffuse product more easily.
I definitely recommend this palette!
Available from your local Superdrug or the Sleek Makeup website.

Sleek Makeup Blush By 3 Palette in Lace
In this post, I am professing my love for Kiss lashes.
I have tried several pairs and they never disappoint.
They are my go-to lashes for nights out!
They are:
lightweight - many lashes out there are not so (Bourjois lashes - I'm looking at you!)
 natural-looking (in the non-plasticky sense),
comfortable to wear
I never had the need to trim them (I know this may be different for everyone)
easy to apply (the band is flexible enough, not too stiff)
and easy to remove! (though this would probably be user dependent)
I know false lashes can be a bit pricey.
These are £5.49 a pair.
But I recommend buying them in packs though, as it ends up being cheaper
eg. 5 pairs for £18.99.
Some people reuse lashes, but I don't tend to, mainly just because I cannot be bothered to clean them after the first wear. But if you were patient enough, I'm sure you'd be able to reuse them too.
Available from your local Boots or Superdrug.
