Hello everyone, how are you all?

I just wanted you to let you know that I've tweaked the scheme of my blog a bit - but it still has a similar layout to before. I also added some 'Pages' to the blog which I've placed in the Linkbar just below my blog header. I've always wanted to do this since the feature became available on Blogger, but I just didn't have the time to do this before.

I'm also sorry for the lack of new posts, its just that I haven't been feeling like blogging at all lately. I've somehow lost motivation / or I could just be in the need of inspiration. I have also been ill for the last week, and haven't been feeling like myself at all.

I would like to get back into blogging though...

Maybe you can give me ideas on things to blog about? I might not be able to write about all of them, but I will really appreciate any suggestions you might have.

PLEASE VISIT MY SISTER's BLOG at
ShannonsWonderland.blogspot.com
... and say hi! :)

We had a wonderful dinner last night, a gathering to bid my sister farewell and good luck before she enters college. We had Thai cuisine at Tropica, a hotel and restaurant in Davao City, Philippines. The food was great, although it seemed as though we ordered several of the same ones haha.

Anyway, my sister and I were excited to bust out the Sleek Caribbean Curacao eyeshadow palette for makeup for the dinner. You can check out her blog hereAnd here are the looks we came up with :)

LOOKs: Sleek MakeUP Curacao Palette at My Sister's Farewell Dinner

Photobucket

I have an eyeshadow quad and and an eyeshadow trio to share with you from MeMeMe Cosmetics.

Photobucket

Ocean Eyes is a baked eyeshadow quad. It is green-themed. Some of the shades feel a bit gritty (especially the top left one). The rest are a bit smoother. Pigmentation is just so so.

This eyeshadow really reminded me of the baked eyeshadow quads MAC came up with before, like Natural Flare below:

I wasn't very impressed with the packaging. I haven't even used this much and the top cover had already gone, and it doesn't snap back on. The product itself seems to be a bit unstable too; if I try to press on a shade, it seems to wiggle. Very odd. Here are swatches:

Elegant Eyes Trio 02. I was more impressed with this pressed eyeshadow trio. It is indigo themed, with a good highlighter, lid shade and crease colour. The eyeshadows are smooth and pigmented.

These also came with instruction cards on how to use them. I hope to try these on a look for you soon! :)

MeMeMe Cosmetics Eyeshadows in Ocean Eyes and Elegant Eyes

Hi everyone! This Sleek Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette has got to be the most gorgeous and wearable eyeshadow palette Sleek Makeup has made to date. It features a selection of delicate feminine neutrals as well as darker shades to transition from day to night makeup. As per usual, the finishes are wonderful. To me, this palette seems very well thought out, and I will definitely use this more than the rest!

Sleek Makeup Oh So Special Palette Review and Swatches

Photobucket

Hi everyone, I'm back! How have you all been?? My exams just finished, and I feel dreadful for all the mistakes I did... Absolutely dreadful... I wish my thoughts were clearer at the time and that I wasn't panicking so much...!! I'm really anxious about them and I really hope I passed. But there's no point dwelling on them now, until the results are through next week.. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Ughhhh!!

Anyway, I have a few swatches for you all. This post will have the wonderful colourful Sleek Makeup Caribbean Collection.

Curacao Palette. This eyeshadow palette is gorgeous. All the colours are wonderful and fun, perfect for this summer. The finishes are lovely too. A lot of veluxe pearls and some matte finishes. This is definitely not for the colour-shy!

Bonaire Pout Polish. This looks really bright in the pot but sadly on the lips it was too sheer. I really wanted to love this one,I wish it was more pigmented! Those of you who are new to the orange lip might find this a good place to start though :)

Photobucket

Aruba blush. This is a matte bright orange. I love it! Its so pigmented and a little goes a long way. :)

I believe this collection is already available in Superdrug stores; alternatively, you can also purchase these at the Sleek Makeup Website: http://www.sleekmakeup.com/
