The Christmas season's here and I wanted to do a bold-red-eyeshadow look. I've used quite a few Sleek MakeUP products in this look - foundation, illuminating concealer and Sleek MakeUP's PPQ Me, Myself and I palette, and I quite like it. I think it would be fab for nights out. I've also used NARS Luster blush for the first time and I love the glowy look it gives. Let me know what you think!

I was really surprised at how Chris De Burgundy eyeshadow looked, as this colour usually makes my eyes look bruised. I suppose it could be the combination with the brighter red, Simply Red, or because it is a matte finish, but nonetheless it looks pretty good for a burgundy!
What do you think? ♥

I like the soft burgundy on you. It's hard to pull off this color.

As most red shadows it's definitely more dark fuchsia than red. :C too bad tho.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I usually go towards REALLY bright reds, but this is a nice and soft look. I envy your top lash lines. I am trying to get that down currently and I'm failing horribly.
ReplyDeletethat color rocks on you. very pretty and simple

Thanks Tifuani! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much hun x
ReplyDeleteI first lined my lash lines with a pencil liner, and then followed by black eyeshadow with a firm angled liner brush. You should try it that way, it's easy! :)
ReplyDeleteThe red lid colour does look more fuchsia, but it might be because I blended it with the berry colour I used on the crease. I'll try pairing it with a contrasting colour - it might look more red that way! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree it's so hard to pull this off, I was pleasantly surprised! Thanks hun!
ReplyDeletelove the colour!!!! x
