I have been a fan of the Batiste Dry Shampoo range for a while now. They are perfect for those emergency situations where your hair needs quick refreshing but you haven't got the time to wash it. It banishes oily roots, refreshing dull, lifeless hair without water.

It comes as a spray in a pressurised can. To use it:

1. Shake can vigorously before use
2. Keep nozzle about 30cm from hair and spray into hair roots.
3. Massage through hair with fingertips
4. Brush and style.

Easy peasy ~!

Batiste Dry Shampoos come in a variety of scents, and so far I've tried three.

The first one I've tried is Blush, which unfortunately did not get along well with my scalp. Within seconds of applying it, my scalp became all itchy and stingy, that I had to actually wash my hair to get rid of the product. Thank goodness I wasn't in a rush. I threw the can away.

The next one I tried was Tropical, and this is my favourite one. It smells of yummy sweet coconuts and does not irritate my skin at all. I love it!

Wild is Batiste's latest offering. It comes in a gorgeous leopard print can and smells of spices - reminiscent of cinnamon and a hint of chocolate - I could just be hungry, ha ha! It does not irritate my scalp.

Overall, I definitely recommend these products to refresh hair in a pinch. Just be wary that some of the formulations might not react well if you have sensitive skin.

You can read more about Batiste Dry Shampoos on their website.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review: Blush, Tropical, Wild

Base: China Glaze Liquid Leather - 2 coats
Crackle: Barry M Gold Shatter
Top Coat: Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

After my gold shatter experiment, I decided on my favourite combination, the black and gold, which I applied on the rest of my fingernails. I love it and I received so many compliments wearing this! It looks a bit like snakeskin, don't you think?

Nails: China Glaze Liquid Leather + Barry M Gold Glitter Crackle

Here are two gorgeous glitters from the brand Irresistible. Pink Ultra Fine Glitter and Silver Holographic Glitter. These glitters are mainly for nail art. The powders are very fine and sparkly, with good quality. There are many ways to apply these on your nails, but I took the quickest (and laziest) option to share you some swatches.

Irresistible Nail Art Glitters

Thanks to everyone who suggested nail polish colours which might go well with the Barry M Gold Crackle Polish I previously blogged about; I decided to do a little experiment with the suggestions I was given. I decided to try the gold crackle with different dark bases: a dark blue (Rimmel Blue Vogue), black (China Glaze Liquid Leather), dark red (Rimmel Desire) and purple (Rimmel Purple Addict). See what you think! :)

China Glaze Liquid Leather

China Glaze Liquid Leather is a shiny true black colour. It is very pretty.

However, the application isn't as easy as most China Glaze polishes. The formula is quite thin and it requires at least 3 coats to become opaque and the relatively-slow drying time can be a problem too. Good thing is that the streaks aren't very obvious.

I haven't been THIS excited about makeup in a while!

I admit -- I am IN-LOVE with Sleek MakeUP's latest offering - the Berry Collection. This is a trio berry-toned shades: Mossberry eye kohl, Fenberry blush and Cranberry lipstick. At first, I thought a trio of dark berry shades were too much for a whole look; turns out, they're perfect together, especially for this cold winter season! The quality of these three products is fantastic; I foresee a lot of use of these products - especially the liner and the blush. Keep reading for my review, swatches - and a look wearing all three. :)

Mossberry eye kohl looks like a dark maroon on the pencil, but it swatches like a dark red violet, cranberry like. It looks very similar to Cranberry lipstick in swatches. It applies well on the lids, doesn't particularly glide or tug, and it lasts at least 4 hours on my oily lash line without smudging, fading or transferring. Its pretty good actually!

Fenberry blush is a dark pinky nude blush. At first I was intimidated by the colour, but it applies like a natural flush on my cheeks. Its darker than the blushes I usually wear, so I tend to apply this on the hollows of my cheeks for a contouring effect, as well as on the apples of my cheeks. It's quite pigmented so be sure to blend well!

Cranberry lipstick is a dark berry red colour. It's a matte, but seems to apply with a bit of a sheen. Because its a matte, you need well moisturised and flake-less lips (not like mine!). Dark colours like this tend to be more difficult to apply straight from the tube; a matching lip liner would be useful to help define your lip line.

Here are swatches: L to R: Mossberry, Cranberry, Fenberry

My look wearing all three, with MAC Blot PowderMaybelline Colossal Volume Mascara and Etude House Brow Pencil.

For £9.99 this is a fantastic deal, you should definitely pick it up before it sells out!
This would make an awesome stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for that trendy friend of yours ;)
I believe you can purchase this at your local Superdrug or the Sleek MakeUP website.

It’s the ultimate collaboration of beauty and fashion: Sleek MakeUP has teamed up with fashion house PPQ to produce the makeup looks for PPQ’s London fashion week show.

The Me, Myself & Eye I-Divine is the result of a mutual admiration of colour, texture and vibrancy! Taking inspiration from PPQ’s S/S 2012 theme, the palette is a heavy mix of pattern and colour to toughen up feminine summer silhouettes making it the ultimate accessory for every self-confessed fashionista and beauty lover!

Packed with an array of brilliant bolds, with matte and shimmer eye colours, you can create endless looks from smoky black, to glistening and gold.

All eyeshadows are wonderful and well-pigmented. The only downside I find is the lack of a colour theme to this eyeshadow palette, apart from that they are 'this season's colours'.

The finishing touch is PPQ’s renowned naughty sense of humour, with eye shadow names like Lilac Allen, Primal Green and Barry White!
