Transition your makeup into Autumn/Winter 2011 with Sleek MakeUP’s NUDE COLLECTION.
Sleek MakeUP’s NUDE COLLECTION resonates from the clean, fresh-faced beauty that reigns over the fashion industry, and no longer is this colour story all about beige. Sleek MakeUP’s new collection is a celebration of ethereal beauty, ranging from earthy browns, variations of tan, and pearly oysters. The dominant makeup trend emerging from the A/W ’11 shows is one of far fewer bold brights and many more neutral, taupe dustings of colour; now the focus is on perfect skin, natural shades of makeup, and a real sense of purity.
Sensual and full nude lips have become a fashion institution, and they’re as big as ever this fall. Let
the BARE MINIMUM POUT POLISH (RRP: £4.29) live up to its name and pair with dramatically dark eyes for an enticingly chic look. SleekMakeUP’s tinted lip conditioning balm is enriched with Jojoba, Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil as well as having SPF 15, giving you gorgeous conditioned lips that are protected from harmful UV rays.
Bare Minimum pout polish is exactly what it is on my lips - a minimally or rather UNpigmented lip balm. For the 'nude' lip look, I would put this on top of concealer on the lips or a flesh-toned lipstick. I wish it had more pigmentation - this is not something I would pick up for myself.
Nail supermodel skin with the SUEDE BLUSH (RRP: £4.29) and create contours and highlights with a shroud of natural colour. Veils of nude on nude on the A/W 2011 runways of Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, and Chloé championed a serenely smoky eye, contoured cheeks, and bare lips.
Suede blush is a satin warm reddish-nude blush. I love its formulation. It is so soft and smooth. It is rather pigmented so I would use a light hand or a stippling brush to apply this, as a little goes a very long way. I love this one.
The 12-piece AU NATUREL I-DIVINE (RRP: £6.49) gives you soft, subtle eyes with a palette of fawns and champagne, or a smoky, sultry look with rich dark browns, highly pigmented to suit all skin tones.
Au Naturel I-Divine Palette. This is a palette of 12 neutral eyeshadows. I am inlove with the bottom row as well as the left most and right most colours of the top row, but the rest of the four don't show up well on my skintone. I wish they were a shade darker. I think fairer skintones would appreciate the entirety of the palette more than I do. I love the neutral shades, this is definitely one of the more versatile Sleek MakeUp palettes. It is worth picking up, in my opinion!
Here are swatches:
I believe you can purchase this at your local Superdrug or the website: Sleek MakeUp.

The blush is super super gorgeous! Love the palette as well :) It swatches way nicer than it looks in the pan. Too bad the lighter shades are so sheer tho..

ReplyDeleteWhen touching upon collections - I`d like to recommend you a pretty and natural one for skin treatment by Organic Surge: http://blog.broodon.com/competitions (Kiss and Make-Up Wipes, Daily Care Face Wash, Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser, Overnight Sensation Night Cream, Eye Gel) - it is given away at BROODON this week...
I like how the eye shadows look so natural on your skin. Some products look a little too "dusty" when applied. However, are these cosmetics safe to use after a diamond peel session?
ReplyDeleteThese eyeshadows are great. I love SleekMakeup! I don't think its advisable to use any makeup products at all within 24hours after a diamond peel session.
