I just wanted to share with you some MAC face charts used on celebrities at the V Festival. :)
London, 22 August 2010 - M.A.C Cosmetics and the M.A.C Pro Team decamped to the renowned V Festival to keep a host of top celebrities, performers and guests looking refreshed from dusk until dawn! The M.A.C Pro Team were on hand to provide the ultimate festival makeup facilities for guests in the coveted Virgin Media Louder Lounge area. Presenters Caroline Flack, Zara Martin, Bip Ling and Gemma Cairney, singers Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, Beverly Knight and Girl Band Parade. The Only Way is Essex members, Sam Faiers, Billy Fiares, Lauren Pope, Joey Essex and Harry Derbidge also received the M·A·C treatment. Actress Ophelia Lovibond, Olivia Hallinan and Actor Harry Tredaway and finally Model Daisy Lowe all visited the M·A·C tent in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge over the weekend for a festival makeup fix.
I stumbled upon these Maybelline 2-in-1 Impact Shadow Liner by Eyestudio at the mall, swatched them on my arms and then walked around a bit more. A few minutes later I tried to rub them of my hand and they didn't! They completely stayed put. I was so impressed. I returned to the counter and decided to pick out a few shades I would wear a lot, and I chose a shimmery white, Pearl White, and Chocolate Brown.
I've been on a purple eyeshadow kick lately, and I wanted to use some of my new products in a look. I used my Me Me Me Eyeshadow trio Elegant Eyes, which I have reviewed here, but have never worn it in a look until now. I also used the Etude House brow pencil which I adore, as well as the Maybelline Eye Studio Eye liner in Crystal White.
I'm wearing it here:

I would say the texture is quite hard and not at all soft, but it applies more smoothly compared to the MAC pencils. The pigmentation is just right not to make a harsh line but enough to apply visible product. I really love this. You should try it!

For some reason I've been wearing purple eyeshadow a lot recently, and I want to share this eyeshadow quad with you. This is Neutrogena's Nourishing Eyeshadow Quad in Moonlit Violet.
What Neutrogena says:
New nutrient-infused Neutrogena® Nourishing Eye Quad shadow gives eyes a beautifully smooth, vibrant look. The Base shade protects with SPF 15 as antioxidant vitamins condition like never before. The Highlighter shade visually lifts the area under the eyebrows with a blend of micronized pearls, while the Crease and Accent shades give eyes depth and dimensions. These eyeshadows are soft and have good payoff. I like how they are labelled Base, Crease, Highlighter and Accent, which can be useful to those just starting to get into makeup. The sponge tip applicator may also be useful, but I wouldn't be using it though as I feel my makeup brushes work better and are easier to clean!
- Nutrient-infused color illuminates and defines eyes
- SPF 15 protects eyelids, while vitamins, silk, and soy condition skin so it's smoother and healthier
- Crease and fade proof for beautiful wear
- Available in 8 perfectly coordinated quad palettes
I personally do not know how an eyeshadow can be 'nourishing', but I don't mind this palette. I think these eyeshadows do crease a bit and fade a little, but not that much different from standard eyeshadows.
This eyeshadow palette contains a satin pale pink, a frosty pale taupe, a semi-sparkly midtone violet and a semi-sparkly dark grey.
