Sigma Makeup have just kindly sent me this Synthetic Face Kit that's comprised of 3 brushes: the F80 flat top kabuki, F82 round top kabuki, and the F84 angled top kabuki. These are super soft and super densely packed with hairs. Out of the 3, my favourite has got to be the F82 as the round brush head reminds me of the MAC buffer brushes like the 181 or 182. Keep reading for more photos and my brief review! ♥
F80 - this is a flat buffer brush. So far, I've only used it to apply powder foundation over my moisturiser, and I think it looked a bit cakey for that purpose. I use sheer liquid foundations, so I don't need this to buff the product on my face. I'm still thinking of what other way to use it..
F82 - Round top brush. As I said, this is probably my favourite. I love the soft round brush head. I have tried to use this for blush, and it works ok, but not amazingly so. This seems like it would work well to apply liquid foundations and buff them on my face, but I have yet to try that!
F84 - Angled buffer brush. I've used this to apply blush and to apply contour shades for my cheekbones and it works great! - But not as good as my MAC 138 though. I prefer fluffier brushes for that purpose.
As you can probably tell, I'm at a loss with how to use these brushes, as I hardly use foundation now and if I do, its quite sheer and doesn't need so much buffing. I need ideas...
How would you use these brushes? ♥
You can purchase these products at Sigma Makeup's Website. I've also heard that Sigma currently offers 10% off any item with the code "STYLE2011".
Disclosure: These items were sent to me for consideration for review - just sharing my honest opinions as always. ♥

I've actually heard of sigma brushes. A now long-lost friend mentioned they were a good alternative to more expensive brands. I hope their prices are still reasonable.
ReplyDelete@RicAdeMus- Haha, that's good to know you're familiar with the brand's name! :P Sigma's brushes are definitely pretty good quality ones and they are much cheaper than higher end brands like MAC. Although I do not think they're as good though, but definitely worth trying for those who are just getting into makeup without much cash to spare =)
