In anticipation of the MAC Fabulous Felines collection due to come out this week in the UK, I have been contemplating whether or not I need the Leopard Luxe quad that has really caught my eye based on the online swatches. It just seems like a beautiful quad: a matte camel, a vibrant yellow-orange, a sparkly grey, and a taupe-like dark brown/black. I really want it, but I feel like the colours may be duped by eyeshadows I already have. And so with those existing colours in my collection, I came up with this look. I have been obsessed with coral colours this summer - makeup, nails, clothes... and when I caught a glimpse of this polish in my drugstore, I did not hesitate to purchase it! It is 60 seconds nail polish in Coral Crush by Rimmel London Cosmetics. It is such a pretty shade of coral with pink duochrome. It reminds me of a more pigmented MAC Expensive Pink eyeshadow, only in nail polish form! It applies beautifully, and it is also easy to remove. I love it! ♥
Do you love it too?? ♥
China Glaze nail polish in For Audrey is one of the most popular shades in the CG permanent line. This colour is a jade green colour, a Tiffany blue. This nail polish has been in my stash for a long time, but I've only recently used it. I am intimidated by green nail polishes in general, but once I put it on I immediately fell in love with the colour! It's not those mossy-like greens which I feared, and the colour seems to brighten up my hands *haha if you know what I mean*. It's a very cool and interesting colour, I'm glad I mustered up the courage to try it! ♥
What do you think of this nail polish? Would you wear it?? ♥
My mum bought me these 5 nail polishes when we went to visit one of the Skin Food shops in the Philippines. I have heard good things about Skin Food nail polishes but I was skeptical at first. When I tried one of them in the store however, I was convinced. Skin Food has some amaazing nail polishes, and this Pedicure Sparkle line is one of them! Very sparkly and vibrant nail polishes, with just the right consistencies for easy applications and relatively long-lasting too! For me, they can last 3-5 days without chipping. And even though they're sparkly and glittery, they are easy to remove. LOVE! ♥ Unfortunately, Skin Food did not provide names for these individual polishes (none which I know of at least), so I will just name them by colour. I got the shades in pink, nude, gold, turquoise and silver. Nude is my favourite - A gorgeous neutral which matches everything you wear ♥ Keep reading for swatches!
I recently got hold of these NARS Multiples in Malibu, Mustique and Palm Beach. These cream-based products come in a stick form. They can be used on the cheeks, lips and body; I am not so sure whether they are all right to use on the eyes. These are all well-pigmented. Upon using these however, I can't make up my mind on whether I really like them or not because they don't seem to dry - they remain creamy and slightly sticky, which I guess could be useful if you want the dewy finish. I suppose I'm more partial to powder products as opposed to creams. Keep reading for more pictures and swatches!
It's been a while since I've posted a makeup look! This is because I've just been so busy with school, and the warm-ish summer season discourages me from doing a full face of makeup. In this look I've used products I purchased from last month's In the Groove Collection. Hope you like this! ♥
Scented nail polishes anyone?
When I first spotted these Rimmel Lasting Finish Scented Nail polishes at my local drugstore, I got really curious. Although quite random and unnecessary, I felt owning these scented nail polishes would be kind of fun. The colours are super pretty too. All of them are perfect for the summer season; the cranberry colour perfect for the fall/winter, and the rest would also look good in the Spring! So I purchased them all: Cranberry Zest, Apricot Punch, Lemon Drop, and Strawberry Fizz. Keep reading for my review and swatches! ♥
Hello everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I seem to have underestimated how busy I would be this year, with going to the hospital everyday during the week and some on-calls in the weekends! I guess its no surprise since I am graduating within the next couple of years. I need to make the most of these two years to become the doctor patients can rely on.
Nevertheless, I still try to make time to update myself with the new MAC collections (haha) and I've recently checked out MAC's new Dare to Wear collection and the new Dazzle lipsticks. Here are my thoughts!
