Hi everyone! The wild bit of my Christmas holiday is coming to an end, which means I'll have more time to make posts on the blog! I'd like to share with you all the look I did for Christmas eve, and a few photos of my adventures back in Davao City *so far! Keep reading~!

This is the look I wore on our Christmas Eve party! I thought that neutral eyes with red lips was a very predictable look for this season, so I switched the colours the other way around! I used red eyeshadow with pale lips. What do you think? ♥

The party was held at our house, and it gave me a chance to see old friends again. It was so fun, we had so much food and laughs, and we had a really good time.

Here's a photo of myself and my little cousin at the party *she's the one in the photo to your right on the blog! ~

The yellow lights make us look really tanned~!

Just before Christmas eve, my family stayed the night at Eden Mountain Resort. It's a beautiful resort by the mountains, where we get to fish for our lunch, hike, and see all the pretty birds and peacocks. This one is pure white, and it's gorgeous!

That sunset by the beach was just so breathtaking~!! ♥

I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos. And I also wish that these photos brought a little warmth to those of you missing the warm seasons!

LOOK: Red Eyeshadow for Christmas Eve & My Adventures~ !

Hi everyone!! Merry Christmas! I hope you all are having a wonderful time. *I know I am!* I've been super-busy since I got back home in the Philippines. I arrived here on Sunday the 20th, which was my little brother's birthday! So I attended and helped out in his birthday party, and after that I went to watch a show by the LKD Performing Arts Center. Our little cousins came over and they're soo cute! Played with them too. On the 22nd my mom's company had their annual Christmas party with a lot of games and stuff, it was just so fun. And on the 23rd my family and I spent the night at Eden Mountain Resort and caught fish to eat and saw the peacocks lol. On the 24th we had our Christmas eve dinner and today, the 25th's Christmas! Gift-giving and gift-receiving haha. And lots of wine, cheese and Super Mario Brothers Wii! Funny that I was able to summarise what I've been doing so far in a paragraph, but I really was busy!

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my blog, and show you what I purchased from the MAC store at Heathrow Duty Free before I left the UK! ♥

The first one I picked up was MAC Peaches blush. I've been wanting to get this blush for AGES! But since it was a permanent item, I chose to wait until I get to the airport to purchase it to save myself £2+. It's a true peach colour with a sheertone shimmer finish, it makes you look like you're 'glowing from within' if you know what I mean. No frost, no sheen, just a true peach.

The next one I got was MAC Tete-a-tint eyeshadow. I've been using Cork eyeshadow a lot for my crease lately, which is a golden brown, and I wanted a peachy-toned alternative to it. When I swatched this, I immediately fell in love! It's a matte2 finish, which means it's so soft, so smooth, so pigmented and so easy to blend! I love this colour. ♥

I wanted a second eyeshadow, and I was contemplating between Sketch and this one. I remembered my makeover look done by one of the MAs at MAC which I loved, and chose to purchase this eyeshadow instead. This is MAC Antiqued eyeshadow, a shimmery dark reddish-brown. It's a veluxe pearl formula, so it's soft, smooth and pigmented, and I love it. :)

This last one wasn't actually bought by me. My mom bought it when she was at the Duty Free for me about a month ago! She gave it to me as soon as I got home. MAC Medium Plus MSF is THE right shade for me. It's more golden-toned compared to Medium, but I've been using Medium since it's what I originally purchased and I just wanted to finish it!

Here are swatches!

Medium Plus MSFN, Peaches, Tete-a-Tint, Antiqued

So that's my haul you guys! I can't wait till I get a hold of some stuff from the Love Lace and Warm & Cozy collections! There are a few swatches on the web so far, but they're all really pretty! I'm looking at the eyeshadows from Love Lace, and from Warm & Cozy, I'm eye-ing a lippie, an MSF, an eyeshadow, and a shadestick! :)

How's your Christmas going? Having fun?? ♥

Merry Chistmas Everyone! & A MAC Haul~ !! ♥

Ever since I laid eyes on the promo image for next year's new Viva Glam lipsticks, I've been wanting to do a makeup look similar to what Lady Gaga was wearing. I hope you enjoy this post! ♥

Warning: Picture heavy post ahead!

I used:

MAC Bare Study paint pot (champagne with shimmers, all over lid)
MAC Brash eyeshadow (shimmery copper, lid)
MAC eyeshadows in Cork (mid-tone golden brown) & Espresso (dark brown) on crease
MAC MSF natural in Medium Dark & Pearl cream colour base (brow highlight)
MAC Feline eye kohl (black, upper & lower lash lines)
Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner in Zero (black, tightline)
L'oreal Double Extension Mascara with Serum Inside Primer
Maybelline Collosal Volume Mascara
MAC Lingering brow pencil (brows)

MAC Select Moisturecover concealer in NW20 (undereyes) & NC30 (spots)
MAC MSF Natural in Medium & Medium Dark (contour)
MAC Pearl cream colour base (highlight)
MAC Sweetness beauty powder blush (bright pink, cheeks)

MAC Magenta lip liner
MAC Lovelorn lipstick

And here's my inspiration!!

I'm so excited that Lady Gaga is going to be the next MAC Viva Glam spokesperson. In my opinion, she's amazing! A little lady with a powerful voice... don't slate her because of her songs, listen to her sing live! She reminds me of Christina Aguilera. ♥♥

Well I hope you enjoyed reading the post and looking at the pictures!

What do you think?? ♥

PS. Feline eye kohl is so intense! I think I'll get a back up xx

LOOK: Copper, Brown & Hot Pink - Lady Gaga Viva Glam Promo Image Inspired

I had 10 minutes to do a look, and I did this very simple one. I only used a few products, hope you like it! ♥

I used:

MAC Nightsky eye pencil (black with silver sparkles, upper lash line)
Maybelline Collosal Volume Mascara

MAC Select Moisturecover concealer in NC20 & NC30
MAC MSFN in Medium & Medium Dark
MAC Conjure Up blush (reddish plum)

MAC Sweetie lipstick (pinkish-berry)
L'oreal Rasberry Sorbet lipgloss (baby pink with sparkles)

I've been eating my lips again :( *Bad habit!!* This was a simple look, quick and easy! Hope you enjoyed it ♥

LOOK: Simple look with Pink lips

I've always wanted to pick up MAC Show Orchid lipstick, but I thought it was too similar to MAC Girl About Town. I went to the MAC PRO store to swatch it next to GAT, and saw that there was a distinct difference between the two. Show Orchid is more blue toned and brighter, whereas Girl About Town is more yellow toned and darker. I heard that Show Orchid is a much coveted shade, often out of stock, and is only available in the Pro store and on-line in the UK, so I immediately purchased it! When I got back home, I compared it to a few hot pink lipsticks I had. xx

Show Orchid is an amplified finish, that means its creamy and opaque, like Girl About Town. But as I've mentioned above, Show Orchid is brighter and more blue-toned that Girl About Town. I thought Show Orchid was pretty similar to Strayin' lipstick, just a bit darker and it lacks the shimmers that the frost Strayin' lipstick has. I haven't compared it to Rocking Chick lipstick from the limited edition Barbie collection, but I feel it will be similar, but just not as frosty. And because Show Orchid has a creamy finish, it's best to use a lip liner for this to prevent it from bleeding out of your lip line, so I'll probably use my MAC Magenta lip liner with this. I can't wait to rock this lipstick out! ♥

Do you wear hot pink lipsticks?? ♥

MAC Show Orchid Lipstick

Here are MAC products that I got in the last 2 weeks. I've been on a red craze lately and lemmed for MAC Kanga-Rouge lipstick from the limited edition Dame Edna collection last year. I found it for cheap from eBay: £8.50 (including shipping!), so I immediately grabbed it. I've been feeling low early this week too, if you've read one of my previous posts.. so I decided to treat myself with some retail therapy and went to the MAC counter a few days ago, and I walked away with the gorgeous Under Your Spell mineralized eyeshadow. The third product I got is MAC's lipglass in So This Season. This lipglass isn't available in the UK, but I won it in one of Temptalia's giveaways about 2 and a half months ago! There were problems with delivery, and I only got it today. Better late than never though. :) So keep reading for swatches and comparison swatches! ♥
